Apex Remix Glow Party is HERE at Jefferson!
We are so excited that our friends at Apex Leadership are coming back virtually!! All of our students and staff had such a blast with their team learning all about Apex GAME ON last year and we cannot wait to introduce them to this year's theme MIGHTY!
Our students will experience Apex Leaders on campus all week leading up to the Dance Remix Glow Party. Apex leaders will bring daily lessons into the classroom virtually! Apex Leaders use kindness and care-based focus on their leadership lessons and skills.
Apex arrives on March 15th and will be popping in Zoom meetings for 2 weeks! Our fun run will be March 6th. We will be looking for parental volunteers this year to help hand out water, mark T-shirts as kids lap, and of course help cheer-leading our kids on!!
This year our character and leadership program theme is GAME ON. The interactive lessons discuss how our attitude and our actions, no matter how big or small, can change the future!
Go Getter: Our #ApexGAMEON journey begins with a habit about learning that it doesn’t matter how old you are, a go-getter is someone who takes action every day. We learned: “Don’t wait, be great!”
Appreciate: A game-changing leader is someone who appreciates and finds value in everything! We did a shout out of something we appreciate about our classmates
Move Forward: To focus on the future; overcome fear and understand that failure exists only for the person who gives up. Game-changing leaders do not let the past define their future.
Explore: Game-changing leaders explore the world around them. They must have the courage to try new things and remember that the easiest solution isn’t always the best
Others First: Putting others first means doing things that aren’t always convenient for us. It’s about service and recognizing the needs of others.
Now What: Taking what we learned and putting it into action!

Our PTA Goal is $10,000 (NET)
This year's funds will be going to help support our amazing staff as they have continued to go above and beyond this year. We still have remote and in-person learning happening and we're not sure how next year is going to look, so we'd like to be able to help them with needs that benefit our children.
Example: books for all students so no one is sharing; each student has their own headphones; water bottles, notebooks, snacks, Kleenex, sanitizer, pens, pencils, supplies for recess and specialists classes, and any and all supplies that they would have to share or spend their own money on.
