Camp Killoqua: 5th Grade Camp


Jefferson Charger 5th Graders will have the opportunity to attend overnight camp at Camp Killoqua in May 2025!

Jefferson PTA continues to work diligently with the 5th Grade Fundraising Committee to help send our 5th graders to camp. Funds are raised throughout the school year through concessions sales at PTA events, Deck the Halls winter decor sales, and the sale of Brown Bear Car Wash certificates.

Join us on April 26th, 2025 for the Chargers take over of Funko Field! Watch the AquaSox take on the Vancouver Canadian's and then enjoy fireworks after the show.


Tickets will be picked up at Jefferson Elementary the week of the game or at the game at the Jefferson PTA table.

Who can I email for more Information? When is 5th Grade Camp and what is the cost?

  • Without any fundraising, camp would cost each student $175, but with fundraising we can get the cost as low as $50 per student

​Why is camp so important to our students?
  • Outdoor education provides a common sense way to provide students with responsibility, autonomy, physical activity in a natural environment that promotes overall physical and mental well being as well as being an optimal learning environment.
  • Provides students with new experiences to work in a cooperative environment with peers and trusted adults.
  • Increases their knowledge of ecology and how the world works.
  • Learn more about Camp Killoqua's outdoor education curriculum including the daily camp routine.
