Inchy the Book Vending Machine
The 2021-2022 Jefferson PTA approved the purchase of Inchy the Book Vending Machine for Jefferson Elementary School! Chargers earn tokens for free books from the vending machine by embodying the Charger code. Jefferson PTA works closely with school leadership to ensure Inchy is well-stocked with a variety of books to engage students of all ages and grade levels. Each school year, Jefferson PTA looks forward to observing our Chargers embrace reading and earning new books!
During the 2022-2023 school year, Jefferson PTA was awarded Gold in PTA Taking Significant Action for our efforts to building community and a love of reading by funding two free books per school year for every Charger. Jefferson PTA also earned the Everett PTSA Council 7.3's Star Award for the addition of our book vending machine.
Stay tuned for details of the next Book Drive that will be held in January 2026! The Book Drive will accept donations of new and gently used books to stock Inchy with throughout the school year. The Fall and Spring Book Fairs and Read-A-Thon are ways Jefferson PTA funds the purchase of new books for Inchy. We also accept donations of new and gently used books. Monetary donations can be made below in the Donorbox link as well.
