Inchy the Book Vending Machine
The 2021 - 2022 Jefferson PTA approved the purchase of the Inchy the Book Vending Machine for Jefferson Elementary School. Chargers will earn tokens for free books by embodying the Charger code. Jefferson PTA is working with school leadership to ensure Inchy is stocked with a variety of books to engage students of all ages and grade levels.
We look forward to seeing how our Chargers embracing reading and earning new books during the school year.
Jefferson PTA uses the Barnes and Nobles Art Show, Book Fairs, and the Read-a-Thon as a way to fund the purchase of new books for Inchy. We also take donations of gently used books for Inchy. Jefferson PTA was awarded a Gold in PTAs Taking Significant Action during the 2022 - 2023 school year for our efforts in building community and a love of reading by funding 2 free books a year for each Charger. Jefferson PTA also earned the Everett PTSA Council 7.3's Star Award for the book vending machine.
